We were delighted to receive sponsorship from hand hygiene brand Nursem at our recent Networking For Healthcare Students event. Nursem have been working with nurses and midwives for years, but we’re incredibly proud to announce that this event was their first ever student partnership!
Organised by Liz Murray (Glenside Campus Coordinator) and Roshin Chummun (Representation Coordinator for HAS), this event was the first in-person celebration of Nurses Day and International Day of the Midwife since 2019 and was attended by 200 students, with a further 100 tuning in on Instagram.
Future collaborations with The Students’ Union have already been agreed and Nursem will use the learnings from our events to provide outreach at other universities. The brand’s ethos is one that truly aligns with our values; not only are Nursem’s products cruelty-free and derived from natural ingredients, but they also benefit nursing communities through their ‘Nursem Promise’: for every product sold, a month’s worth of free Nursem is given to a nurse or midwife.
