The UWE Bristol Summer Ball is the end of year party organised by Dazed Events, Propaganda, and Sounds & Silences on behalf of The Students’ Union at UWE. It is running 25 May 2023 from 14:00 - 22:00 with several stages of music, entertainment, food stalls, bars and activities throughout the day. The event is only open only to UWE students plus their guests!
The Summer Ball is located at the picturesque 17th century Walton Castle just 30 minutes from UWE Campus. Buses run from UWE Frenchay Campus to the castle and will drop you back after the event. This travel is included in your ticket!
YES! You can bring one non-UWE guest, as long as it’s a UWE student purchasing the ticket for them, and they will need to arrive at the venue with you. Travel is also included in their ticket.
Tickets are starting from £35 but will rise in ticket tiers so it’s best to secure yours as soon as possible! All tickets must be purchased in advance

No! All cars will be turned away at the gate.
Yes! We really want everyone attending to have the most enjoyable time possible. If you have any accessibility needs, please get in touch with The Students' Union to organise this via suevents@uwe.ac.uk
You cannot bring alcohol but there will be alcohol sold at the event. There will be a main bar serving a variety of beverages, an inner bar within the castle, and a wine/cocktail bar.
Food will be available to purchase from a variety of street food traders for you to enjoy from day into evening.
Yes! And if you have a ticket to the Summer Ball you can go to the after party for free!
