UWE First Aid society has partnered with St John Ambulance to help with the national Covid-19 vaccination programme.
As part of the partnership, the society is giving all students the opportunity to volunteer and help administer the vaccinations.
This is open to all students, regardless of whether you are studying a healthcare related course.
To get involved and access the sign-up form, you first need to join the UWE First Aid society, and will then be able to receive the link.
If you’d like to get involved, you’ll need to complete a training session. The training is mostly online, with one face-to-face session as well.
The training programme is happening across the country, so the in-person training can be completed either in Bristol or wherever you are currently living.
The volunteer hours are flexible to fit around your timetable. The minimum commitment St John Ambulance is asking for is two days per month.
