City Campus Officer 

 

About me 

I am an international student studying 1st year Media Production. As a student who did their foundation course on Frenchay Campus and continued my studies at City Campus (Bower Ashton, Arnolfini, Spike Island and Watershed), I have noticed how City Campus does not get much attention or publicity. There are a number of City Campus issues that are seemingly un-noticed and unspoken of at UWE such as:

• Not having many City Campus specific societies.
• Not many social events taking place on Bower Ashton.
• Many people being unaware aware that City Campus is part of UWE.
• Neglecting the needs of City Campus.

 

What am I working on? 

• I will bring the attention of everyone to the issues faced by the campus of arts and creative departments.
• I'll try to connect with the students more and try to get them to know about the other part of UWE with the help of the members of The Students’ Union team.
• I will try to hold events and give some of the spotlight to City Campus.
• I'll also be around if anyone wants to talk about any issues or ideas!
