About me
I am pleased to have the opportunity of being part of UWE's success. I believe that UWE is going fast toward being one of the top UK universities. UWE members work hard to achieve their targeted goals through a well-defined and organised plan.
What am I working on?
When I read the survey findings, I decided to direct my efforts to research and improve two main areas:
This area includes how students face difficulties in managing their daily needs, transportation costs, accommodation rent, tuition fees. It also extended to cover the financial assistance that may be offered to students such as scholarships and fellowships. I believe that with some extra efforts, UWE can add more scholarships from different organisations which can be granted to all nationalities.
Students’ wellbeing can be improved a lot if the system of complaints are clearly defined and accessible to all. We need to be able to quickly and confidently report an issue of inappropriate behaviour along with seeing it being swiftly dealt with. If all students feel like there are protected by university rules their wellbeing will directly improve. However, some students may need some workshops that enable them to easily engage in the university with other students who came from far different environment and culture.
I will work hard towards making UWE more sustainable, that includes ensuring we have green more spaces and reduce our carbon emissions. I also will help students engage in extra curriculum activities and work towards facilitating their access to activities.
None alone can work, all UWE need to work together to reach the highest satisfaction and proficiency level.
