WOMAN’S WELFARE OFFICER
ISABEL RYALL (SHE/HER)
Woman’s Welfare Officer
About me
I am a 3rd year Politics and International Relations student with a strong interest in issues of gender-based violence, international development, and sustainability. I hope to use this position to amplify the voices and concerns of all women here at UWE Bristol, in order to make their time at university both safe and enjoyable.
I currently work as an ambassador and campaigner for Our Streets Now, a movement working to end Public Sexual Harassment through cultural and legislative change, this role would complement this work, specifically here at UWE Bristol. I have also been a student representative for the last two years, meaning I have experience advocating and representing others.
I am aware my experience does not account for everyone I would be representing as Woman’s Welfare Officer, which is why my main priority in this role is to listen and amplify the voices of all women here at UWE Bristol.
What am I working on?
